Open the map
Zombies come in through the windows, so board them up to slow them down. Clear debris and open new rooms for weapons and space to move. Every opening gives you more ground to defend.
Hold out. Find a way out.
Night Ops: Undead is a top-down co-op shooter for one to six players, set in the bunkers, trenches and steel corridors of a war the dead never left. Every round the horde comes harder and the map gives you a little more: a door to open, a gun on the wall, a perk, a trap, a crate that might hold something better. Board the windows, spend well, and keep the squad standing. Then find the way out.
An unidentified signal has been detected inside a designated non-combatant zone. Your orders: find the source and destroy it.
Dark Operation was meant to be a simple night insertion. Then the helicopter went down short of the target. Get your bearings, get Command back on the radio, and complete the mission.
The zone is not empty. The local population is hostile, dead, and coming in waves, and every step toward the signal means digging in, arming up, and holding on. Reach the source, take it down, and get to the extraction point.
Can you and your squad get out before you're overrun?

Every zombie you kill is points. Points open the map, buy guns and upgrade your gear, and the horde keeps getting tougher. Play solo or with up to five friends.
Zombies come in through the windows, so board them up to slow them down. Clear debris and open new rooms for weapons and space to move. Every opening gives you more ground to defend.
Cover a teammate while they reload, revive them when they fall, and coordinate your spending to open the next door. A downed teammate starts bleeding out, and you have a short window to reach them.
Buy a Thompson or Trench Gun off the wall for a known price, or roll the Mystery Crate for a random weapon. The Beam Gun and Storm Coil are in the pool. Most rounds the decision is whether to save for the wall gun you want or take the gamble.
Buy perks to take more hits, reload faster or carry a third weapon. Restore power to upgrade your weapons at the Punch Press, and put traps between your squad and the horde.
Every survival mode has a rules screen where the host can change how the match plays. Make the zombies tougher or slower, give the squad more to start with, or turn a run into a real grind. Set it up as easy or as brutal as you like, and the settings sync to everyone in the lobby.
Follow the campaign, chase a survival record, or turn on your squad in Infection. Dead Pixels brings the maps to the arcade cabinet.
Fight through the bunker, convoy and radar compound before making a run for extraction. Complete objectives together and get the squad out.
Survive increasingly tough rounds with short breaks to reload and regroup. Hound rounds send fast-moving packs after your squad. Optional checkpoints let you resume from a saved round.
No rounds and no breaks. The horde keeps coming, and every kill brings more onto the map. Keep moving and beat your kill record.
One player starts infected. Bleed out and you join them. Hunt your former squadmates and spend Brains on upgrades, or survive as the last human standing.
Find the hidden arcade cabinets and unlock Dead Pixels: retro versions of the maps with an old-school arcade look.
Bunkers, trenches, tunnels and steel corridors. Pick your ground in Waves, Overrun or Infection.
The original
A bunker with boarded windows on every side. Open the stairways for room to move, and keep an eye on what follows you upstairs.
Trenches
Long firing lanes cut through a shattered trench network. Watch the junctions and leave yourself a route out of the dead ends.
Submarine
Fight through cramped compartments while zombies breach the hull. Watch what’s coming down the corridor behind you.
Four floors
Four floors of concrete with a hoist running between them and a flak gun on the roof. Every stairwell is a chokepoint.
Caverns
Five caverns connected by looping tunnels. Hold the boarded cave mouths or fall back through the mine when the room gets overrun.
Signal source
Take on the radar compound in endless survival. Work through its objectives while holding off the horde; extraction is off the table.
Play solo or bring up to five friends. Host a room on Steam and join through your friends list or an invite. LAN and direct join codes also work. Add bot squadmates to fill empty seats.
Pick your mode and map, ready up, and head in together. Between runs, return to the lobby and have another go. There are 39 Steam achievements to earn across the campaign, the survival modes, and secrets hidden throughout the maps.
Choose Host Co-op. On Steam, friends join from your friends list or an invite. Friends on the same network can find the lobby in Join Game. For direct internet play, share the join code shown in your lobby. Once everyone is ready, the host starts the match.
A join code looks like 6B01R-GA8PE. This example is not a live lobby.
Steam rooms need no setup. For direct join codes, the game tries to configure the host’s router automatically using UPnP. If that is unavailable, the host may need to forward UDP port 8910. Some connections, including CGNAT, prevent direct internet hosting. LAN play is also available.
Yes. Add bots in the lobby or game settings, up to six squad members total. You can also play solo with bots.

Twenty guns, most of them from the war: the weapon manifest lists the M1911, Thompson, MP-40, PPSh, M1897 Trench Gun and two additional shotguns, Kar98k, M1 Garand, BAR, RPK, .50 Cal Machine Gun and a Panzerschreck. Buy guns off the wall for a known price, or take a chance on the Mystery Crate. Every roll costs points and is a gamble: a standard gun most of the time, or something rarer like the Beam Gun, Storm Coil, Scorcher or Reclaimer.
Every gun goes through the Punch Press three times. Each tier hits harder, holds more and reloads faster, and a few change form on the first press. Perks like Juggerbrew stack on top, and when a Lead Storm drops, the player gets thirty seconds of minigun action. Expand a gun below to see its Punch Press name and special effect.
Your starting sidearm. Upgrade it at the Punch Press to get Thunder & Lightning, listed below.
Upgraded M1911Explosive dual pistols
Put the M1911 through the Punch Press to get automatic dual pistols firing explosive rounds. Blasts damage nearby zombies, and aiming at open ground lets you place the explosion where you need it.
Obtained by upgrading the starting pistol, rather than a wall purchase or Mystery Crate draw.
Punch PressHeadcracker
Every hit is a critical hit.
Punch PressTrick Shot
Killing shots ricochet to nearby zombies. Each Punch Press tier allows another bounce, as long as each hit kills.
Punch PressThe Ping King
Hits can briefly stagger zombies. Higher tiers improve the stagger chance and let rounds pierce additional bodies.
Punch PressGibs-o-Matic
Incendiary rounds build up burning damage with repeated hits. Higher tiers increase the burn damage and duration.
Punch PressThe Afterburner
Incendiary rounds stack burning damage on targets. Higher tiers make the fire stronger and longer-lasting.
Punch PressThe Reaper
Corrosive rounds stack damage over time and slow zombies further as the corrosion builds.
Punch PressBore Hole
Concussive hits shove zombies back and briefly slow them. Higher tiers increase the shove and slow duration.
Punch PressSnuff Box
Concussive hits knock zombies back and slow their advance. Higher tiers strengthen the knockback and extend the slow.
Punch PressGut-Shot
Flaming pellets build up burning damage with repeated hits. Higher tiers increase the burn damage and duration.
Punch PressThe Widow Maker
Hits trigger shrapnel blasts that damage nearby zombies. Higher tiers increase the blast radius and damage; Tier III removes the delay between bursts.
Punch PressThe Krauss Refibrillator
Hits trigger lightning arcs to nearby zombies. Higher tiers add more targets; Tier III removes the delay between arcs.
Punch PressThe Meat Hook
Impact bursts spray shrapnel into nearby zombies. Higher tiers increase the blast radius and damage; Tier III removes the delay between bursts.
Lobs corrosive globs that burst on impact and leave acid puddles. Buy it at the Radar Compound; it can also appear in that map’s Mystery Crate.
Punch PressDissolver
Coated zombies leave behind goo creatures when they die, which attack and distract the horde. Bosses do not spawn them. Higher tiers widen the splash and make the corrosive coating last longer.
Find these weapons in the Mystery Crate. The draw also includes map weapons; the pool varies by map and mode.
Punch PressNova Beam
Each hit erupts in an energy nova, damaging nearby zombies. Higher tiers increase the blast radius and damage.
Punch PressTempest
Lightning chains through nearby enemies. Tier I doubles the number of chain jumps, increases their reach, and reduces damage lost between targets.
Punch PressHellfire
Blue flames reach farther and leave zombies burning longer.
Punch PressThe Iron Rain
Rockets scatter a ring of explosive bomblets around the impact: five at Tier I, six at Tier II, and seven at Tier III.
Upgrade the weapon in your hands. Each level adds 5% to damage, ammo capacity and fire rate together, and stacks with Punch Press upgrades.
Keep upgrading without a level cap. The price per level rises by 1,000 points every five levels. Fixed-size magazines, such as the Panzerschreck’s single rocket, stay fixed; reserve ammo still grows.
Restore power, then upgrade the weapon in your hands. Push it through three tiers for more damage, ammo capacity and fire rate, with special effects that depend on the gun.
Each price buys the next tier for that weapon.
Playing solo? Spend Revive Rush to get yourself back up, then buy it again for another self-revive.
Grab drops from fallen enemies to resupply, upgrade your weapons, or clear some breathing room.
